Christina Birch is a freelance Danish photographer with location in Copenhagen.
I work in both the editorial and advertising field. During the years I have specialized in portraits, interior and exterior photography, lifestyle, food and travel photography. For many years I have contributed with my pictures to various interior magazines worldwide in collaboration with a range of very talented designers.
In 2018 the book “1900 til Bords” was published; Here I was responsible for the all of the styling and photographic look. Read more about the book here https://www.bloodyamateurs.dk/product-page/1900-til-bords-af-hannah-lund.
Shooting a portrait is always a welcoming challenge. I care for my clients to feel comfortable in front of the camera and I always aim for a result which shows a honest portrait.
The photographic art fine prints in my webshop are photos taken on my many travels or selected photos from various art projects.
I started my photography carreer shooting analogue and spending hours in the darkroom experimenting and developing black and white films. It founded my interest in experimenting with the photographic media, and it has never stopped, even though I progressed to digital photography many years ago. I like working in layers and with filters today in Adobe Photoshop. Lately I have also started working with cyanotype (blueprints); this process was one of the first non-silver technologies used to create photographic images in the 1840's. Every print is unique. When new prints have been created you will find them for sale in my webshop.
